On April 22, 26 tourists were gunned down by terrorists in Baisaran valley of Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir. Ever since, the search operation of the security forces continues in the valley. Firing was reported at Tutamari Gali and Rampur sector. The Indian Army retaliated too. There has been no report of loss of life or property.

Kishtwar: The selling, stitching and stocking of army uniforms has now been prohibited in Jammu and Kashmir's Kishtwar. This has been done keeping the security of the region in mind. Maharashtra CM says reports of 107 Pakistani nationals missing are unfounded
Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Sunday stated that the reports of 107 Pakistani nationals missing are entirely unfounded. He refuted the reports and stated that such false information should be eschewed. "As the home minister, I categorically state that there is no truth in these reports.". He also added that all Pakistani nationals have been located and the evacuation process of taking them out of India is underway soon.Pakistani nationals' visas expire today, medical visa holders extended until April 29

The central government had issued a recent notification which said that the Pakistani nationals whose visas have expired or whose Long Term Visa (LTV) has not been granted, will immediately have to leave India and go back to Pakistan.
Pakistani citizens on medical visa have been provided time up to April 29. Because of this, a large number of Pakistani nationals came to the Attari-Wagah border today. Women, the elderly and young children were also seen standing in queues with their luggage. People were also spotted getting emotional while saying goodbye to their Indian relatives. The scene was filled with emotions.
